About me
Hello, my name is Carolina Serna, and I am an undergraduate student at the University of Florida pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences. I have a strong passion for the healthcare field and I am dedicated to expanding my knowledge and skills in this area through both my academic coursework and extracurricular activities by entering nursing school. I was born and raised in Miami, Florida, by immigrant parents, which has allowed me to work well with multicultural backgrounds and interpersonal skills. My goal in life is to better the lives of people around me by care, compassion, and community involvement. My academic journey has allowed me to comprehend the social, emotional, and physical needs a person needs when under the care of someone. I have a strong foundation in nursing due to my studies. My education and experiences will allow me to work with others to create a better way of living for others.
